famous yacht Bolero was designed by Sparkman
& Stephens and built by Henry B. Nevins for John
Nicholas Brown. She was launched in 1950 and is an excellent
example of the best yachts produced in that period.
Bolero
is depicted here on the crest of an ocean swell, bow
down, with all sails set; reaching for her destination—most
likely a finish line. The list of trophies Bolero
has won over her long career is impressive indeed.
