About Jo-Ann Osnoe...
Jo-Ann Osnoe has a passion for watercolor. Immediate, translucent, vibrant and graphic are just a few words that begin to describe the work of this artist. Dedication to her craft and a strong sense of design help Jo-Ann to express the beauty she sees in her surroundings.

"Fluidity, transparency, spontaneity, and luminosity; these are some of the qualities of watercolor that make it the perfect medium for me! I am often inspired to capture a fleeting moment and these qualities, unique to watercolor, lend themselves to this effort with grace.

Moving seamlessly from still life to florals to landscapes, I express my regard for nature and the beauty in all that surrounds us. I see nature as a point of departure, allowing me to express the feeling I have for the subjects that most inspire me. The more I simplify nature's forms, the more the essence of what I am trying to capture in the painting comes through."
