About Anthony Thompson...
Tony is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of West Florida. Working in oil, Tony paints 19th and early 20th century maritime subjects, contemporary coastal scenes and local country scenes. He holds artist status in both the American Society of Marine Artists and the International Society of Marine Painters. Tony's work has been exhibited in the Pennsylvania State Museum, and in Maritime Museums around the country. His paintings are in the Bucks County Conservatory, Immaculata College, the U. S. Coast Guard collection and many other corporate and private collections. He is an annual contributor to the Mystic Maritime Gallery's International and Modern Marine Masters shows. The Thomas Hoyne Award is listed among Tony's many career accomplishments. His career has been featured in the Bucks County Town & Country Living magazine, and his work is included in A Gallery of Maritime Art, by Rockport Publishing.
